2015 is Nearing! Astrology & Numerology

Hard to believe that 2015 is only days away!  Where does the time go?  It seems to fly faster as we age don’t you think?  Remember as a child it seemed like it took forever for vacation to come? Now, it zips by.  As the year closes, and the weather is cold and icy, it is dark earlier and the days are shorter, we have more time for reflection, memories, and preparing for the new year. Hopefully, we also have firmed up our resolutions in our minds or written them down.

Also, it’s a time to change our calendars, and start filling them with birthdays, appointments, vacations, meetings, and other important events.  I find if you fill them in all at once you are less likely to forget those you want to remember.   I have a great monthly system (which I can help you with as an organizer) which is a great way to capture things that are months away.  The filing system I recommend is also great for tax time, which is nearing as well.  You want to be able to get to the paperwork you need for your tax preparation and File Solutions (R)  is a great color-coded system. I use both the monthly and the file solutions files for my paperwork.

In addition to paperwork, you might have a resolution to start clearing out things you rarely or never use.  Get rid of old, make room for new!  Contact me if you need more help.  There are some great sites to sell or give away your things:  Ebay, Craigslist, and I found a new site to connect with neighbors in trading recommendations and services called nextdoor.com.

I also follow astrology a bit, and when you get deeper into it, you will find it is really quite accurate.  It’s always interesting to see what predictions come up for the new year.  From one astrologer C.A. Brooks:  “As you contemplate the messages of the Full Moon and what the New Year holds for you, think about this. According to numerology 2015 resonates to the number 8 which is considered strength and captures the power of solid foundations. (It’s often the number of leaders, managers, directors and people in authority.) Its strength lies in strong boundaries and rules, but that can also lead to its shadow and weakness – stagnation and inability to change and evolve. As we enter 2015 we will be called to the greatness and power of the 8. We grow into this power when we are focused on a clear goal and have the willingness to purge the impurities, addictions, distractions and unnecessary from our lives. The Full Moon amidst the strength and power of the Grand Square in the cardinal signs, ushers in the year on a note of profound and yet exciting and inspirational change. ”

I love numerology too and each of us have 9 year cycles. It is simple to figure out what year you are in.  For your number year add your birth date and the current year together.  For example born Jan, 30, 1980, you would add a 1 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 8 which is 22 and then add those two to make it a 4 year.   That is how the year 8 was determined above for 2015 (2+1+5).   I have been in a 1 year this year with new beginnings.  As you approach the 8-9 years you will see things completing or ending in your life.  I had a lot of loss in those years recently with my job, and my mother.  So now I am finding new beginnings in the 1-2 years.

The Chinese New Year in 2015 begins February 19 and will be the year of the goat/Ram.  It is  fun to celebrate, though I have not found it to be as helpful as the aforementioned.

Happy New Year!  Make it an amazing one.
